Financing the studies

University fees :

Polytech'Marseille is a public school; the relevant French Ministry decides on the fees.

For information purposes, the registration fees for academic year 2001-2002 amounted to 570 Euros for a non grant-maintained student.

This amount breaks down as follows :

. University fees : 380 Euros
. Compulsory fees : 20 Euros
. Social security : 170 Euros

The student must, of course, take out insurance, with prices ranging from 12 to 270 euros, depending on the type of cover required.
Grant-maintained students can deduct the university fees from this amount.

Student grants : these are granted depending on the family's income. Last year, 43% of the students from the three branches obtained a grant.
