The educational project of the
Marseilles Polytechnic University School aims to
prepare engineers over three years, with generalist training targeted towards a professional branch of industry.
The School thus trains engineers who are capable of meeting high-level professional requirements in the
three specialised fields :
. Mechanics - Energetics (ME)
. Microelectronics and Telecommunications (MT)
. Industrial Engineering and IT (GII)
The School firstly wishes to confirm the brand image and know-how acquired by these three branches. In using the synergies created, the specialised fields are henceforth strengthened thanks to a shared pedagogical schematic based on :
. Importance placed on
experimental training and
projects
. Priority placed on
teamwork and
personal work
. Development of
guided self-learning
. The predominance of
training in professional behaviours
. This pedagogical schematic is closely linked to the
NTICE (New Technologies in Information and Communication in Education)
Engineering studies last for
three years, but applicants may enter the School in the second year, if they are holders of a French Masters' Degree, or a diploma with a level equivalent to BAC +4 (four years after the Baccalaureate).
The courses for each branch are held over 6 semesters :
. A
Core Subject cycle lasting 3 or 4 semesters
. An
Option or Advanced cycle in the second and / or third year, depending on the branch
This course also enables easier access to the specialised subjects taught in the other branches of the School, or to
DEA or DESS courses. It furthermore enables the student to integrate in specific training programs run in other schools in France or abroad (by agreement).
